Wild about Harry

You know -- Harry, the magician, pursued by a dark past, beset by supernatural villains, sometimes mistrusted both the councils of the mighty and his friends as well, just an ordinary fellow with extraordinary talents ...

No, not that   Harry.  Harry Dresden.

The first DVD set of the SciFi series is open for pre-order at Amazon.  Which would be fine news in and of itself -- but SciFi hasn't announced a second season yet, as the show was a marginal performer.  So either they're just contemplating some ways to produce it less expensively, or else the strength of the DVD sales might be what's needed to tip the balance ...
