Parental visitation, right?

My folks got into town on Thursday afternoon. Margie and were both working on Friday, so we didn't really free up for touristy stuff until later Friday.

Which, for purposes of Friday was taking the light rail downtown, eating at the very-conveniently-located Buckhorn Exchange (been many years, and, yum!), then further railing our way downtown to show off my fabulous office (well, fabulous office building), checking out the Big Blue Bear (which my mom seriously wanted to see after all the blog postings), and then taking the train home.

Where we all crashed (at home, not on the train) astonishingly early.

Good times.

Quoth *** Dave ...

We split the 3-1/2 lb. Steak for Four. Yum.

And, of course, the Dutch Apple Pie with Cinnamon Rum Sauce, a la Mode, for dessert.

We could have walked home.
