Bits and pieces
Since we're actual houseguests this time of year, our CoX play is pretty constrained due to social graces -- and the business and otherworldliness of the schedule out in Faerie is such that we don't reliably get onto the system at normal times or for normal durations.
Add to that Margie's use of the family laptop, whose graphics capability is, um, a bit limited (pretty much out of play for CoV, and marginal for CoH), and our heroics are more than a bit hampered.
That said, we managed to get on briefly over the past few days. Margie more than me, doing stuff with Blue Point, while I did some here-and-there activities with Lynne. We managed some teaming with Fazenda and Araware, which was fun, some Al McGordo and Christmas Present (taking advantage of the travel powers), and actually did some arc work with Psi-clone and Amorpha last night, finishing off (literally as well as figuratively) the Envoy of Shadows (and with the least pain to date).
After which we discovered that the suggestion we bring along a friend or two to deal with a Carnie bomb-planting plot was well-advised, as different bombs required simultaneous deactivation. Fortunately, Captain Atomyc was at loose ends and could (literally) lend a hand.

So, so, *hate* the Envoy of Shadows mission.
Last night got to do a CoV mission that was fun just becuase the map was new.
it was on the "Shaper" Story arc, and it was the Take out Calestyx mission. The big take out the AV mission takes place in cave where all the stalagtites, and stalagmites form a giant sharks jaws.
Very cool.

Actually, after the first attempt (which was sort of "Duoing an AV 101" for us, the second two encounters with the EoS were pretty straightforward. I mean, scary, but not in a "we're all gonna die!" way.

I got lucky last night. Avo mentioned that he was having trouble getting a team together to take care of his three - count 'em, three - AV missions, and Dark Scorpia and Vincent Vorpal assembled a team for him.
We did my Neuron mission, then somebody else's Infernal, and finally somebody's Malaise. We would have finished the final one in time to help you with the bombs, but for a lengthy RP scene that was of some importance to several members.
It was so nice to be able to get Avo on a team again! Lately everybody seems happy with their duos and doesn't want a third. Krystal was nice enough to invite him along with her recently, though.
Silver Mantis Strike Force tonight. No problems teaming in CoV...

Yes, much fun! Hopefully I can clear those other AV missions soon (an move on to the next one after Bobcat).
However, I'm leaving for Washington tomorrow, and I won't have internet access at home until January 3rd. Of course, I can probably visit the home of the friends I stayed with when I was locating a place to live. They have multiple computers, so I may be able to get my fix fairly over the long weekend.

Take care of yourself Avocet and good luck with your move!
I haven't been on much recently as I've been sucked into Civilization 4 instead of CoX.
*sighs* Conquer world with armies of tanks, with a fire/fire corrupter, or save it as a blaster... So many choices...
