TF/SF Mob Difficulties - an Inquiry
Okay, since I know there are Many Knowledgable People out there, certainly someone can answer this.
What determines the mob level in a Task Force/Strike Force?
- The level of the team leader (star)
- The rep of the team leader
- The average level of the team
- The average rep of the team
- The highest level on the team
- The highest rep on the team
- The TF/SF itself (i.e., it's fixed)
- It varies between TF/SFs
Every time a TF/SF comes up blinding purple or blah blue, everyone asks the question, and everyone seems to have a different opinion. Does someone have the definitive answer?

Have you tried asking this on the official forums to see if you can get an answer from a dev?

The rep of the star-holder, plus the highest level on the team, PLUS the number of people on the team (which you don't have listed).
Easiest levels for everyone:
1. Star-holder is set to 'heroic'.
2. Team is all the same level.
3. Group size is five or less (if possible).
That said, there are certain 'minimum-levels' set in some of the TFs for some or all of the mobs.
Note: The thing they did were AVs show up only as Elite Bosses if the difficulty setting is low enough AND the size of the group is small enough ONLY MATTERS in NON-TF situations: AVs in TFs ALWAYS show up as AVs.

Group size would affect mob sizes (quantity) but not mob difficulty level (quality), right?
Rep will affect things per rep (base, more, higher lvl, more and higher level, still higher level), right?
Or, put another way, insofar as the difficulty level of the mobs, the highest level on the team seems to have the biggest (non-reputation) effect.
And so when I said last night what we needed to do is kill Venenata and Ghost Maiden (who were the highest level) to make it easier, I wasn't far from wrong. :-)

Hey now...
I do not remember what the level of Ghost Maiden was, but Ven is 18 staring at +3's all night....well...that one stinking mission.
Ven is not Zazi, and Stealth didn't help at all. ;P

You were both 18s, the highest in the group. :-)
I would have liked to have had Zazi around. Or Lynn. Or Amorpha. :-)
