CoX: I12 Character Creator

Official news on the Issue 12 Character Creator and UI changes, mostly driven by the "Real Numbers" changes. So there will be a "See Detailed Info" in the character creator that will show all the underlying numbers, with a "show me at level X" slider (moderately interesting for me).

More spiffy than that will be "costume sets" -- a start for, say, "Biker" or "Jester" (!), etc. While in theory that might make slightly more homogeneous costumes, in practice it will make a much easier starting point to get a bunch of similar sets. Nice.

Closed Beta is promised in the "near future."

I think that allowing the costume creator to apply costume groups globally to a character will really make for some fantastic costumes as people use those as starting points to diverge from. Especially as some of those costume groups are veteran or paid add-on exclusives.

adding the numbers to the creator is noce for the min/maxers, but I doubt it'll see a whole lot of use by the average user.

Mouch more excited about the grouping function. This is all a nice bit of gravy added to what is going to be an excellent Issue.

Meanwhile my Fire/Kin Corr on Freedom (Boothill Preacher) just dinged 31 last night . .. must . .get . . 50 . .before I12!!!!!
