The neighbor was out sweeping their driveway this weekend.

I didn't think the leaf situation was quite to that level yet, but it will be by this weekend.

Hmmmm ... wonder what the Boy is doing Saturday ...

Ummm...

Not playing playstation...

The boy has an 11:30 football game and is free or cheap after that. I must agree that there is no Playstation 2 in his future.

Speaking as someone who spent many an hour raking leaves in Michigan the last few years, but who now lives in a complex where the yardwork is handled by someone else, Fall is much nicer when you don't have to rake leaves!

Well, there is a visceral satisfaction about it -- that's good for about one weekend's worth of effort. Alas, given the size of the cottonwoods in our neighborhood, it's usually more of a several-weekend effort.

That said, I love living somewhere leaves actually change color ....

Does make me glad, btw, that I didn't pickup any PS2 games for the boy for his birthday. Though, come to think of it, I think we didn't pick up *anything* for his birthday, which error needs to be corrected.
