"What movie are we going to see tonight?" Katherine asked.
I stood up tall and did a big muscle flex.
"Spider-Man!"
"Nooooo ..." I started running in place really quickly.
"Justice League!"
"You've seen commercials for this on Disney Channel," Margie suggested.
"Yeah, the mommy is all stretchy," I added.
"Oooooohhh!! I've seen that commercial!"

Please give us an update after you have seen this. I heard an interview on NPR about it and it seem to indicate it wasn't really kidlet friendly so I'd be interested to know what Kitten thinks of it before I get dragged by my nephew off to it.
0630 on Friday, the door to the bedroom opens (my wife goes to work at 0415, so it was only me). Enter Young Miss Laura.
"Dad! It's morning! Today is the day The Incredibles is shown!"
Father awakens, having worked until 0100...
"Laura, it's 6:30 in the morning. The theatre doesn't open for four more hours. Go to sleep."
We did see it, first show. I thought it was great and wish Pixar would go into making adult animated films. I'd love to see them tackle E.E. "Doc" Smith's "Lensman" series, for example.
I don't know about your showing, but our theatre had about 8 small previews of some goofy looking animated film "Bigg's Adventure" or something along those lines. Around preview 5 somebody called out "Enough already!". At preview 7, I turned to my wife and said "It's got to stink, if it were any good they wouldn't be trying so hard to push it."
Didn't see that particular trailer. Did end up with a loooooong commercial centered around the upcoming Sponge Bob Square Pants movie (which just added insult to injury).
Ah, the Disney vs. Nickelodeon juggarnaut. My autistic son picks up on the commercials and knows the exact release dates not only of when movies show up in theatres but also for DVD release. When any of those dates pass, I have some real "fun" on my hands. :-0
