Expanding the back yard into the large side yard had long been a goal of ours. The deterioration and falling-apart of the original gates from the back made that imperative. This album details the building of our new fences.

Since the estimates we got from fence companies were about $2,500, we decided to cheap out and do it ourselves. The materials came to about $750, so the rest was just sweat. The project began in September, and extended into November.

A year later, I realized I'd never taken the final "After" photos. Bad Dave! No Archivist Cookie! So I snapped some shots, and have added them in.
