| After a wind storm in the spring (and a big branch falling from the neighbor's cottonwood) cracked the 4x12 that held up the outer length of the deck, we decided to expand on the insurance settlement and expand the size of the deck, do a split-level L-thing, and add steps down toward the east. Oh, and use some spiffy space-age material for the main surface. Here's what it looked like. (Note: This collection is incomplete -- still need to dig some older photos out of the offline storage.) |
