You can define a person as one of your
Aspects. "Family, mentors, enemies, dependants, old war buddies, leige lords, servants, familiars, rivals," etc. (FUG 22)
- The person has to form an important part of your story.
- The person has to appear with reasonable frequency (or, for a past relationship, the impact has to be profound and frequent).
- The number of aspects reflects how close the bond is. (The GM will handle the game stats for the NPC.)
Just like
Items, people can also be bought as
Extras instead of or in addition to being an
Aspect. Taking them as an Aspect grants them permanency; taking them as an Extra indicates more of that they can specifically do for you. (FUG 27)
If an Aspect person is unavailable when it would be helpful and appropriate, you can get
Fate Points for them. (FUG 28)
