A framework for structuring
Exchange-based Combat rounds (from Landon Darkwood

- Everyone declares their intent for the exchange, as well as any specific details that might add bonuses to the exchange result. The GM declares the intent of any NPCs under his control.
- All dice roll modifiers are announced.
- Exchange rolls are made, and base results are announced. That includes the results of any characters under the GM's control.
- Aspects and Fate Points are spent to change outcomes.
- Final results are detailed and described.
The idea is to ensure the GM can "keep track of everything involved and action still proceeds smoothly."
