A former Soviet general has set up shop in Chechnya as local potentate and arms dealer. The agents are assigned to infiltrate his mansion, using a planned dinner party as cover, to obtain a special experimental chemical warhead that he obtained from an old Soviet weapons lab.
The agents case the joint, forge invitations, and infiltrate the party. They mingle, meeting interesting people, and admiring an amazing collection of both stolen and counterfeit art. Lou thinks she sees that same person, or a cousin of his, as at the University Of Caen, peering through the kitchen at her, but again cannot catch up to him. Calvin flirts with a young British girl. Gina encounters an old jet set acquaintance who must be disposed of; she also exchanges words with an intriguing European gent. Dylan scouts out the upstairs.
Eventually, some of the agents break into the basement below, quietly defeating the guards there, and discovering both an armory of weapons and the plans (and a working model of) the chemical warhead. They dispose of all appropriately -- just as Chechen rebels crash the party, too, trying to hostages.
The agents defeat the Chechens inside, then must stage a daring get-away under fire from other rebels outside.
