The new team is dispatched by the Agency to investigate the theft of rocket fuel from a small EU observation base in El Molar, Spain. A new communication satellite network is being launched shortly, and there are concerns of skullduggery (key players at the facility are Carlotta Luna, Fritz Kristof, JP Baptiste, Elan Salvador, Maria Milagros, Alejandro Garcia). Under cover as an EU-contracted security team, the group investigates the theft, and eventually uncover the mole (Iago Benitez) behind it -- at which point they are attacked by a mercenary band (led by Logan Campbell).

They defeat the mercs, some of whom flee by helicopter, and track a computer incursion on El Molar to the University Of Caen in France (and a student there, Simon Fracier). There they discover that nuclear secrets have been sold by a scientist (Marie Fluery) in response to the kidnapping of her brother.

While others are inside interrogating Fracier, Lou spots an interesting person watching her in the dorm courtyard. He disappears down an alleyway, and his presence is never explained.

They follow Fluery to the marina at Deauville, and steal a boat to follow Campbell's yacht (which Lou has slipped aboard). They take out Campbell and the remaining mercs on a boat trip across the Channel.

Based on clues so recovered, they end up at Glengraham Distillery in Scotland, which turns out to have a nuclear missile silo on the grounds. They invade, conquer, and avert the missle launch, turning the bad guys (including the apparent mastermind, Blaine Graham) over to the UK military.
