Previous: Snow Storm Session 2
With the conclusion of Adam Snow and Lex Monday's conversation, dinner was served ([Dennis Horvath]?, the butler, had to retrieve Calvin from his room.
Lex looked unfriendly toward Calvin, though he generally looked unfriendly toward everyone. Lou engaged him in some conversation to try to determine his origin, but was unsuccessful. Dylan did better at getting him to slip that his immediate clients are in Kashmir.
Lou had a better time chatting with Heath Grant, who was a bit flustered by a comment Mira had made to him about nude photos of her on the Internet. Lou and Heath talked about weapons, as she angled for some demos of whatever he'd be willing to bring out to the range the next morning.
Meanwhile, Gina engaged in scintillating conversation with her host, Snow.
Dinner was, by the way, excellent.
At its conclusion, Lex excused himself to his room to do some work. Adam invited everyone to cognac in the comfy chairs. That interlude was interrupted by the arrival of Bilby John and his wife, Mereki Kylie, who were seeking to convince him one last time to lay off on blowing chunks out of the landscape. Snow was unimpressed, and had them tossed out on their ears.
Calvin suspected that Adam probably wasn't following the letter (let alone the spirit) of the law regarding aboriginal claims and rights in Australia.
Lou noticed Kylie looking at her intently.
Calvin took the opportunity to let slip to the floor Grant's PDA, since he'd sucked all the info out of it earlier. Then he and Mira headed out to do some more "swimming."
That opportunity to converse over matters took a twist as Mira decided she didn't need to go back to her room for her suit. Between Calvin's hormones and Mira's natural teasingness, the two of them sort of lost track of what they were actually there for (at least as far as the Agency is concerned). This did have the advantage, of course, of distractng some of the guards, too.
Gina and Adam went for a walk around the house. He made it clear they'd have more time to spend together once business was concluded on the morrow. They engaged in some kissing, then he walked her back to her room.
The team decided (conversing via their radios) that rather than wait for an opportunity in the morning, that night would be a far better time to strike -- especially since Snow's bodyguards/security specialists, Alec Ramsey and Eddie Pryor, were almost certainly sleeping, having been up longer than they had.
Lou and Dylan slipped out of the house, bypassing the guards (at least some of whom were keeping watch over the swimming pool), and headed over toward the quonset hut they believed housed Snow's weapons cache. Lou attacked from the darkness, taking out her guard target before he could gurgle and alarm. Dylan, the only one in the group with a gun, turned it on the other guard, also taking him down before an alarm could be raised.
Gina, on the other hand, talked her way past another guard and to Adam Snow's room. There she engaged him in a passionate kiss -- laced with knock-out lipstick. He slumped to the floor, she recovered his pistol, and searched the room ...
Meanwhile, Calvin drew on his deep store of downloaded pr0n knowledge to put his best move on Mira, who found herself unexpectedly impressed. The result led to scattered, involuntary applause by the watching guards, which brought back to them what their mission was really all about ...
