It's like moving into a frickin' new house

Moving into a new PC, that is.

The guys at the office got my old hard drive working in a different notebook, so I have been able to pull in my personal mail. Huzzah.

My Palm is now syncing. Unfortunately, it's syncing to my PalmDesktop software, not my Outlook. Argh. Have to find my Palm installation CD for the PocketMirror software.

Things I need to (a) download, (b) install, (c) deal with the registration.

I'm not downloading or updating, for now:
  • EditPad (Notepad replacement)
  • BugToaster (crash reporter)
  • CacheSentry (better manage Internet cache space)
  • SynchroTray (atomic clock sync)

Yeah, that should keep me busy. Have I mentioned my day job ...?

    Quoth Julia ...

What D&D character generator are you using? PCGen, or the WotC (ick) one?

And thanks for the list! I may go find out about getting a few of these myself. Still equipping the new laptop. :)

    Quoth ***Dave ...

I've been using (or at least had loaded) the WotC one -- but actually have used it only as a backup for the copy on my wife's machine, so it's not a huge priority ...
