Ego stroking, in public

Those with no interest in my site stats should venture no further ...

Using SiteMeter's whacky stats, I received 7,949 visitors to my site this past month (up from 6,737 last month).

Of those, 43% (3,418) were to this blog, which shows as actually down from last month. WIST got 34% (2,702, up from last month), and 23% were to other pages on my site.

Hmmmm. Those proportions are based on the last 100 pages viewed, which doesn't necessarily track. Unfortunately (mutter mutter mutter) its the closest I can figure with SiteMeter. But given that readership here dips quite a bit on the weekend, I could believe it's skewed, too. Hrm.

My ExtremeStats numbers are interesting. They only show up for this blog. They show me getting 3731 unique visitors in May (vs 3,266 in June). The daily peak was 176 unique visitors, vs. 150 yesterday.

I don't know what it all means, but it looks to me like traffic here continues to grow. Which, I guess, is a good thing.
