This song first crept back into my awareness a few weeks ago on a show that NPR does on bad music. Every now and again the host shows up on Weekend Edition and gives us a taste of what he’s found. He played the whole thing one morning. I was rolling on the floor, I was laughing so hard.
Back in college (c. 1978), I knew a fellow who had this album. One side was Leonard Nimoy singing this and other songs, and the other side had Nimoy singing as Mr. Spock (“Twinkle Twinkle Little Earth,” “Most Illogical”).

I was aware that this song existed, but I never thought to actually hear it. And to have it coupled with such a…charming video presentation….
I think that Katherine would enjoy this. I can just see her doing the little Hobbit shoulder wiggle
And some of her clothes are disturbingly similar to the ones in the video, too.
