Well...
There really isn't much inbetween here and anywhere else. I was amused by the chunk of Kansas that is influenced by Lincoln, NE when none of Nebraska is.
That's part of what makes it intersting (SLC is in a similar boat). That's one reason, of course, why we lack some of the retail entities that other locations have, e.g., Ikea, Trader Joe's.

While I am a master of the Three letter acronym...I do not get that one.
Salt Lake City.
You know -- the other really large "city" area on the map, next to Denver.
