End of the Cinderella story

The Cinderella Twin Drive-In, a real landmark, is finally coming to the end of its final feature.  Though the choice property at Santa Fe and Hampden has been threatened with redevelopment for years, the Sheridan City Council finally voted Wednesday to approve an apartment complex on the land.

For those looking for a last drive-in fling, the 35-year-old theater is open tonight and Saturday, before going dark for good.

Quoth *** Dave ...

Nice pics. I'll confess that I never actually went to the Cinderella, but I drove past it on a very regular basis, and the conversion to apartments will be ... well, apartments are probably needed, and it will add to the general neighborhood renewal, but it won't have nearly the character.
