Are wheels still good after all this time?
Yeah. They're not anything fancy-schmancy, but they seem to do just fine for her.
Helmet! Let me be the only one who had to get stitches from a skateboard slip.
The funny thing looking at it is that it is the perfect size for her, and that the current models decks are 4 or 6 times bigger than that one. One the currents ones she could lay down on them without much trouble.
Yeah, there's clear need for helmet and knee pads, neither of which are here. She wants to bring it home with her, but not only is that not fair to her cousins, we really don't have good skateboarding around the house. Margie did note to her that all the things she's learning are applicable on her scooter, too, though, so that's what she's looking forward to now.
