  1. Thanks and thanks. No spare batteries, no little pouches of fluids — and no real security problems (except hoping that that guy yelling at the TSA people wouldn’t blowback on us).

    On the bright side, rather than a 5:30 flight we managed to go stand-by on a 2:20 flight. On the down side, that flight was delayed until 4:30 or so (bad weather in San Francisco), but it did mean we got home a little earlier, could open stockings from Santa, relax, and be home.
