Katherine had a blast. She was not too cold. The luxury coach she rode on was so much better than a school bus. Oh, and she enjoyed skiing, too.
She finished all her Level 1 things to do (equipment, mountain awareness and courtesy, straight gliding, slight direction changes, “balanced in a gliding wedge,” and stopped in a wedge). And the comments from the instructor:
A natural. Picked it up easy. Flew through instructions. Would’ve advanced faster if not for the rest of the group. Best in class. Natural leader. Won every race.
Yeah, she’s a happy camper. 🙂
