(I try not to be a Font Perv — at the very least, I try to pick appropriate fonts, and not mix more than a couple of them at a time. I also have several hundred fonts on my PC, though only about 60-odd “active” at any given time.)

I found it quite distasteful some years ago when Discover magazine started using multiple fonts and text colors (some of which were nigh impossible to separate from the background colors of the ubiquitous text boxes) on every page. I wonder if they have abandoned that practice.
