When I got moved from my old office to the "Crypt," I was told it would be interim until the overall office move/expansion plan was settled. To that end, I didn't ask for added furniture necessary to unpack all my boxes.
Current plan now looks to be in April my moving over to the new building (away from other IT folk, alas). I'll still have an "inside" office (as most of the ones there are), and it's a bit narrower than the rather roomy digs I currently have.
On the other hand, it's a nicer building, I'll be closer to a window, I'll be closer to the operational folks, I'll be able to unpack all my boxes, and ... well, we only have a lease there for a couple of years, before all leases are up and we're likely to consolidate with a group we just acquired who have offices downtown (though I doubt we'll all be moving there).
So ... not my hoped for outcome, but hope springs eternal.

Yes...
They are moving us all around here because of Federal Regulations regarding how my kind of comapany is allowed to work. Should take a year as everyone but the Enviromental folks and the management types get moved around.
