Well, here I am!
PDX is a very nice airport.
The weather is warm, but not beastly.
The drive into downtown was (mid-afternoon) uneventful. Would have been easier on the train, but I’m the designated minivan-renter for the trip. Alas, no Everlost on the vehicle, but the directions from the hotel were very clear.
Ah, the hotel — the fabulous 4-diamond Hotel Vintage Plaza. Yikes! I should have brought more slacks to wear down at the evening complementary wine tasting …
Now, if the rest of my work schedule would just settle down.
