Is it a bad sign when you get a note from your boss (CC your peers under him) that, effective immediately, you’ll be reporting to his boss directly?…
UPDATE: I’m now answering directly to my (previous) boss’s boss, as are my peers. Thursday I get to do a whirlwind trip to/from Pasadena to talk with said boss (who is spending the first part of this week and next week visiting other folks in a similar situation). No clear idea what it all means as of yet.
