Meanwhile, back on the snow front …

We’re supposed to get a few more inches tonight, finishing up by now. Tomorrow, basically cold, with the sun expected to peek out by mid-afternoon. I might go out and do some shoveling out front late tomorrow. No idea when the streets will be passable enough to actually drive somewhere (our street never gets plowed).

In the meantime, a couple of local buildings have actually had roof collapses: the US Toys and Constructive Playthings roof and a Diamond Shamrock pump shelter, both in the same Big Block as, well, we are.

Diamond Shamrock

Indeed, the Diamond Shamrock is a common place for us to fill up, and I’ve visited the UST&CP store (across the street from St Thomas More) before; it’s a great place for educational toys and teacher supplies.

Ouch.

Flat-roofed buildings and carports around the city are having problems. And I’m still a little worried about our deck.
