Numeric analyses of the “Current Crop of Comics”:
DC = 25 (+ 6 Vertigo + 3 Wildstorm) = 34
Marvel = 19 (+ 2 MAX) = 21
Image = 7
Dark Horse = 5
and then Dork Storm 2, and Abstract, Oni, Kenzer, Dynamite with 1 each.
So, is DC better? Well, if I look at just my Top 25 …
DC = 4 (+ 2 Vertigo + 2 Wildstorm) = 8
Marvel = 9 (+ 1 MAX) = 10
Image = 2
Dark Horse = 3
etc.
So, arguably, DC is overall drawing more of my custom, but I think best (marginally) of Marvel. That might be further influenced by some extra DC I picked up as part of their summer brouhaha.
